I ran kernelcheck to upgrade to 2.6.30, but it always complaint that "I do not know where the kernel image goes...". My box is a dell netbook with Intel Atom 270 processor, Ubuntu 8.04 with kernel 2.6.24-24-lpia. Googling the topic didn't yield any solution. Anybody can help?

There is a bug with the lpia kernels and compiling custom kernels. Someone recently posted this topic on Ubuntu Forums.
